Owned by the Albada Jelgersma family in Margaux, Château du Tertre is, as its name suggests, located on a superb ridge of gravel, the highest point of the appellation. A technical equipment upgrade and a reduction in yields were made by Alexander van Beek to bring the wines of this Cru Classé to the level of the best in the sector. With a pure and brilliant fruit, the great Château du Tertre wine is tense and full of freshness, which allows an amateur to taste it after only two to three years of bottle, or to keep it in the cellar.
