After years of working with Gamay farmed in Oregon's Willamette Valley, Kimmel began a new endeavor planting Gamay at 2,000 feet elevation on the Washington side of the Columbia River Gorge. Never stop exploring and always drink good Gamay!

The Color Collector Bethany Kimmel makes small amounts of gamay in a juicy, floral, thirst-quenching style.

Kimmel works gently and slowly, doesn't own a winery pump, opting instead for a traditional basket press.

She relies on native yeast and the natural chemistry of ripe wine grapes in her fermentations.

During harvest, you can often find her awake a 4 a.m. plucking berries from their stems by hand.

Her wine production is small in size, but full of heart.
