A single vineyard field blend of 70% Tempranillo and 30% Viura planted on super chalky clay soils in 1955. Aged 18 months in French oak. Deep, dark, luscious black cherry and mocha notes that really delivers. Though it's a rich wine it is matched with lots of detailed tannins. Impressive Rioja from a small, independent-minded grower in Laguardia. Organic with biodynamic and regenerative practices.
