Allen Meadows, Burghound: 80-92 Points- Moderately generous wood fights somewhat with the otherwise pretty and high-toned aromas of essence of red cherry, spice and a floral top note. The delicious and beautifully textured, though again not especially concentrated, middleweight flavors brim with minerality that adds a sense of lift to the more refined, dusty and youthfully austere finale. This too could use better depth so at least some patience advised. Drink: 2032+
William Kelly, The Wine Advocate: 92-94 Points- After replanting with the estate's highest quality massal selections, the 2022 Pommard 1er Cru Rugiens (Domaine Louis Jadot) marks the return to the lineup of this cuvée. For a third-leaf vineyard, the results are more than impressive. Bursting with aromas of plums, berries, spices and licorice, it's medium to full-bodied, velvety and seamless, with a suave, layered profile, succulent acids and a saline finish. This is very promising. 92-94 points
