Located in the cru of Rive di Santa Maria in the village of La Morra, the old vine fruit and the La Morra location give this Barolo an edgier and darker profile. Bramble fruits and garrigue aromas are evident on this wine, with hints of truffle giving additional layers. Tannins are firm and chalky and need a couple of years to resolve, but when ready, this wine will be outstanding.

Violet, forest berry, cedar and spice aromas come to the forefront on this perfumed red. Agile and delicious, the lithe, full-bodied palate brings home succulent red cherry, raspberry compote and baking spice while taut, smooth tannins give it a silky texture. Fresh acidity keeps it balanced. Already accessible, it will also age well for several years or longer.
