Kadarka is a medium red traditional style made for centuries in Hungary and across the border in Serbia and Croatia. Made from 100% Kadarka from old bush vines, certified organic, spontaneously fermented, unfined and aged in large used Hungarian oak barrel.

In the 1990s, Tamás Dúzsi founded his Szekszárd estate on reclaimed land that had been nationalized under communism. For this red, the Dúzsi family organically grows and hand-harvests Kadarka, a rare native Hungarian varietal.
