I am impressed by the weight and energy of this very promising Clos Vougeot There is plenty up front, muscular, but enough behind too. A beautiful finish as pure class peeps throughout. The rich, punchy and delineated middleweight flavors are not particularly concentrated though they are solidly powerful on the dusty, firmly austere and very much built-to-age finale. Excellent quality here in a built-to-age package."
