Organic/Biodynamic Certified Since 2020
Located in Savigny-lès-Beaune, the Camp-Atthalin estate spans five hectares of vines, carefully managed according to organic and biodynamic principles, certified since 2020. The estate produces this Hautes-Côtes-de-Beaune red, Le Mont Battois, made from Pinot Noir, grown on a plateau above Beaune at an altitude of around 350 meters. Exposed to the east and southeast, the vines thrive in soils composed of limestone, pebbles, and clay.
In the winery, the grapes are destemmed before fermentation in stainless steel tanks, with native yeasts driving the fermentation process. The maceration is kept relatively short and is described as "infusion-style," involving gentle pump-overs and no punching down. The wine is then aged for a year in barrels.
The result is a flavorful, aromatic wine with a beautiful expression of fruit, offering a round and straightforward character on the palate.
