From the Battaglio vineyards in the Langhe of Piemonte, Gianluca Battaglio created a special limited edition wine of Barbera d’Alba Superiore. After a methodical hand-harvest of Barbera grapes, each cluster is then further hand-selected in the cellar so that only the finest grapes are used to make this wine. The wine ages in second and third passage French barrique for 14 months. Full bodied, aromatic, and a lush richness that is silky on the palate. Extremely limited 600 bottles annually depending on the vintage.
