Ettore Zucca created this Rabarbaro (rhubarb root) Liqueur in 1845. Zucca was a favorite in the Royal House of Savoy and across Milan for its deep, rich, and smoky flavors. As its house bitter, the Caffe Zucca in Galleria serves Zucca with soda or tonic on crushed ice, for a light, low alcohol aperitif. Zucca is also delicious with grapefruit soda, espresso or as a source of smoky depth in rum, tequila,and whiskey cocktails.
