Stefano Daffonchio farms 25 acres in eastern Piemonte's Colli Tortonesi. The area is home to the rare Timorasso, a variety so challenging to grow that it has but a handful of producers. Hard work pays off however in lovely, ageworthy wines that burst with fresh acidity and aromatic character. Stefano produces excellent wines from other local varieties as well. Stefano’s wines are must for fans of Italy's hidden regional treasures.
