Our indigenous local grapes – quite recently rediscovered - such as Pugnitello and Foglia Tonda - are ideal for this kind of soil and climate. Other types of grapes we grow at Sequerciani are Sangiovese, Ciliegiolo, Aleatico (Passito) and Vermentino.
