A work of art, and an expression of patience, richness, quality and master blending. Aged to perfection in the highlands of Quetzaltenango, Zacapa Rum develops its complex flavor and character 2,300m above sea level in the mystical House Above the Clouds.

Zacapa Edicion Negra is made using the “Sistema Solera” technique, during which rums aged between 6 and 23 years are blended and then aged in a succession of barrels. It benefits from an additional year of aging in toasted American oak barrels, which gives it a new, more structuring facet with intense smoky flavors.
