This Passerina is fermented and matured on the lees for four months in stainless steel; it has an explosive nose of acacia and rose petals and a palate that shows tropical notes of banana, pineapple, and passionfruit with hints of almonds on the finish.

Pantaleone Winery:

Founded only in 2005, Pantaleone is a small (40 acres) but dynamic organic winery just outside of Ascoli in the southern part of the Marche region of Italy. The main focus of the winery is on the two indigenous white grapes of the region, Pecorino and Passerina.
