Costa's Roero is made from 100% Nebbiolo from 25 year old vines in the prestigious Cru vineyard, Medic. Here, the soils are calcareous and rich in clay, with less sand than is usually encountered in Roero. The grapes are fermented in stainless steel and aged for 30 months in tonneaux and six months in bottle before release.
