Not Pinot Gris as you know it!
This one is electric fruit with a vibrant color and a dazzling perfume to go with it. It's nectarine, shaped by tart, crunchy acidity. There's great volume of fruit.
WINEMAKER: Andrew Burchell
REGION: Mount Gambier, SA
VARIETAL: Pinot Gris
VITICULTURE: Organic/Biodynamic
Pinot Gris grown on sand soils over limestone only kilometres from the ocean from the seaside region of Mount Benson in South Australia’s Limestone Coast. De-stemmed and open fermented while left on skins for 2-3 weeks through its entire fermentation. Pumped over twice daily. This beautiful pink wine is savoury with natural acidity, a textural and morish wine with hints of sherbert leaving you wanting more.
