90-93 points/'Outstanding,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(from a .78 ha parcel of vines planted in 1995). As is usually the case with a typical example of Combettes, the cool, airy and elegant nose is markedly floral in character with its aromas of essence of white orchard fruit, citrus zest and a hint of passion fruit. There is fine size, weight and volume to the vibrant middle weight flavors that are both finer and more precise, all wrapped in a lemon-tinged finish. This is a wine of finesse that should repay mid-term keeping as it could use better complexity. Drink: 2030+. (Jun 2025)"
90-92 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "Pale lemon, slightly firm, a little bit reductive, a little warmth has crept in. Fair acidity. Does not quite kick on. Within the frankly superlative range of François Carillon wines, the Combettes feels a bit left out. This vineyard has not been enjoying global warming. (Oct 2024)"
