Spring was cool and precipitous, so flowering came late (in the beginning of June).

The weather in June/July was hot and dry, so the vines shot up.

After the heat wave in early August, for three weeks before harvest, perfect weather returned for giving ideal maturity and balance to the grapes.

My Beaujolais Nouveau is in this style: freshness with ripe aromas, supple, fruity wine, easy drinking.

It is crafted in the same way as the rest of my wines: natural yeast, whole bunches, carbonic maceration.
