Bummaru is a lighter example of Nerello Mascalese. Ripe, lively, and energetic, this wine is deliciously refreshing. Slightly peppery, with prominent cherry, a refreshing acidity makes for a quaffable Sicilian red. Grapes are harvested by hand and undergo a short maceration on the skins, co-fermenting with indigenous yeasts. No filtration, no fining and only 2mg/L sulphur added prior to bottling
