50% Baco, 40% Ugni Blanc, 5% Folle Blanche and 5% CoLombard
This armagnac is distinguished by its golden color with fiery yellow highlights. The nose is very fruity and complex, with aromas of ripe quince, dried fig and orange jam, as well as spicy notes of vanilla and cinnamon, complemented by an infusion of verbena. On the palate, this fruity richness is repeated. The tannins, still young but silky, carry the brandy with elegance. The finish is long and persistent.
Francis Darroze passed on his passion to his descendants, in particular to Marc Darroze, who played an essential role in the development of the trading house. Marc Darroze travelled the Armagnac region, forging close relationships with local producers and discovering hidden treasures of eaux-de-vie, often aged for many decades. This expertise and commitment to quality make Marc Darroze a respected figure in the world of Armagnac.
They prioritize quality, provenance and authenticity. Each eau-de-vie is meticulously selected, with an emphasis on capturing the distinctive character of the terroir and the producer. This approach allows connoisseurs to discover an exceptional range of armagnacs, from fresh, young vintages to deep, old vintages.
Armagnacs from the house of Darroze are aged in French oak barrels for many years, often well beyond legal requirements. This enables the eaux-de-vie to develop complex aromas and an unrivalled depth of flavour.
