The newest whiskey from award-winning, Newark-based microdistillery All Points West is bourbon-inspired, but not technically a bourbon.

A blend of corn, wheat, and malted barley, it is aged in only 5% new oak casks, with 95% of maturation taking place in the used cooperage.

This will please fans of bourbon, blended Irish whiskey, and used-oak American whiskeys such as Michter's. Delicious!
