This small 7.5 hectares (18.5 acres) vineyard is nestled in the tiny township of Eraville in Grande Champagne. The property has been producing cognac since 1730. The Family operation was passed on to Jean-Luc by his uncle Albert, who left Jean-Luc with eau-de-vie dating back to the late 1800’s. Their broad lineup ranges from terrific starter Cognacs to the rarest of the rare ultra-old blends. Smooth and silky and so much finer and more elegant than the big commercial Cognacs in its price range. Naturally made with no additives, coloring or extract - just pure, barrel aged Cognac. Five to Ten years old brimming with fresh and vibrant notes of orchard fruit (almost Calvados like), oak in good measure, and complimenting brown spices. Medium to full-bodied exhibiting a texture that would seem impossible to achieve from a Cognac of this young age. Bright and crisp citrus notes round out the finish.
