Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate: (92-94 Points) “Once again one of the highlights of the range, the 2019 Savigny-lès-Beaune 1er Cru La Dominode, (Domaine Louis Jadot) wafts from the glass with notes of cassis, plums, dark chocolate, loamy soil and spices. Medium to full-bodied, fleshy and layered, it’s elegantly muscular, with fine depth and lively acids.”
Vinous: (90-92 Points) "The 2019 Savigny-lès-Beaune La Dominode 1er Cru was more closed than the Clos des Guettes on the nose, presenting darker fruit tinged with iodine and light iris petals. Fine delineation. The palate is well balanced with supple tannins, fine grip and edginess and a subtle white pepper and clove note toward the finish. This is a very well-crafted Savigny that should drink well for 10–15 years."
