94 Decanter - Ripe black cherry fruit straight away on the first nose, this is a brilliant Petit Figeac, yet more proof of the brilliance of 2018 in St-Émilion. This is juicy, smoked caramel-laced and makes you stupidly excited to taste the first wine. It is controlled with great length and has just enough depth to give confidence but not so much that you are going to have to wait years to enjoy. Lovely stuff.
93 James Suckling - The plum, cedar, mushroom, forest-floor and sandalwood aromas are so enticing. It’s full-bodied, yet ever so fine and caressing with lovely tannins. Long and energetic at the finish. Lots of elegance and structure here. Nicely done.
93 Wine Enthusiast - The second wine of Château Figeac, this reflects the top wine's chiseled structure and firm tannins, rich in black currant and damson fruits. The tannins and vanilla flavors give the wine sweetness, echoed by the generous fruits.
92 Points, Antonio Galloni - The 2018 Petit-Figeac is ridiculously good. The 2018 is a very pretty, mid-weight Saint-Émilion that impresses with its sheer charm and allure, both of which it has in spades. Close your eyes, and just enjoy.
