2017 White Burgundy: A Modern Classic The largest white Burgundy crop since 2009 has yielded pliant, elegant, pure wines with considerable aromatic appeal and early accessibility, along with the balance and stuffing for at least mid-term aging. Family owned estate for five generations, the winemaker here is Laurence Danel who gained her experience at Bouchard and Faiveley. She makes wines that allow the terroir to be expressed and never lack fruit. Organic farming since 1994, the wines are pure with judicious use of new oak and express the unique qualities of the terroir.
