The aromatics of wildflower, pear, and honey are reminiscent of Alsace.
Layers of ripe pear, hazelnut, almond, and smoke grace the palate and lead to a silky, creamy finish.
100% Pinot Bianco
In Terlano, where the winemaking tradition dates back more than 2,000 years, mild, Mediterranean-type microclimatic conditions impart unique characteristics to the wines. Located in Alto Adige Dolomite Mountains, in the foothills of the Alps, Terlanos' distinctive location and extraordinary terroir are the keys to the development of these stunning wines.
Only 4,500 cases are produced of this exquisite wine made from grapes grown on the steep, vertiginous slopes of the Vorberg cru. The evening temperature drops in significant contrast to the days' warmth, creating the ideal environment to produce ripe, concentrated grapes with bracing acidity. After hand harvesting and a gentle whole cluster pressing and clarification of the must by natural sedimentation, slow fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature in big oak barrels (30 hl). Malolactic fermentation follows and then the wine ages on the lees in traditional wooden barrels for 12 months.
