The Gantenbein’s Chardonnay has the intense minerality of a Chablis, fused with the deeper power of the great white wines of Burgundy’s Côte de Beaune.
"Consider yourself an insider to even hear about this wine and ‘lottery winning lucky’ to get your hands on a bottle,” writes one reviewer. “Hard to find...but highly recommended if you want to taste Switzerland’s Romanée Conti.”
The Gantenbein vineyards are located in the upper Rhine valley in eastern Switzerland, one of the most breathtaking places in the world. Close to the foothills of the Alps is the winery, considered a marvel of design ingenuity and mechanical precision — the brick wall catches the light to form optical effects inside while also filtering the light for constant temperature control.
