Sustainable. 50% Primitivo and 50% Zinfandel. Zinfandel is grown at Connor Vineyard and Primitivo at Hodge Vineyard. Both vineyards are located on the Kubli Bench in Applegate Valley and are LIVE farmed. 2019 marks the third vintage from these vineyards. The diurnal shift in temperature preserves acid and makes some of the most interesting red wines in the world. The grapes are picked together and go whole cluster into fermenters and is trodden daily until dry before pressed into neutral French oak barrels where it aged for 12 - 15 months. Only a small amount of sulfur at bottling.
