"Hughes Hollow Vineyard" is located in the Salem Hill, just south of the Eola-Amity Hills AVA. The vines were planted in 1986 to own-rooted Pommard clone Pinot. The vineyard has always been dry farmed, but when Bow & Arrow took over in 2014, they also converted the farming to organics. It is a north facing slope that is, in fact, hollow. The wine is made with about 20% whole clusters, with a gentle and relatively short maceration. Elevage for 14 months in old barrique and stainless steel tank. 285 cases produced total.
